About Our Media Center
Our Mission
It is our mission to equip our students with information literacy skills, encourage students in their love of reading, and support teachers with all instructional needs.
Media Center Information
Students may visit every day with a Media Center pass.
Our students are encouraged to select books based on what interests and excites them! If we do not have a book you love, please let us know or leave us a note in the book request box.
Kindergarten may check out one book prior to Christmas and 2 books when we return in January. Grades 1-2 may check out 2 books at a time. Grades 3-5 may check out 3 books at a time. All books may be kept for a 2-week period. Any lost or damaged books must be paid for by the end of the school year.
Any student who visits the Media Center with a parent may check out additional books.
Students may place holds for books that are currently checked out. When their hold is ready, they will receive a notice and must pick up the book within 3 days.
Computers and Reference section are available for students to complete research projects independently or as a class.
